Q: You CANNOT short AMZN. They tell you they cannot borrow the stock. You need to sell the call options NAKED. I did that - and I am losing $10,000 every single day since before Christmas.

For example, one can easily raise bid price, but not ask price. So those
skilled day traders raise bid price sky high before the market which in term
driving the stock price upward. Then they remove their bid couple minutes
before the ma
aggregated into few stocks.
Same here, AMZN has made some dimes for me, albeit I feel a bit concerned
about the fall - so i'd like to take limited profits and stay out more - to
short this stock is very very risky at this time, unless your on lev.2, you
might loose a bundle.
I read of a 40% short interest in AMZN - so, some of the reasons for the
incredible rise are the shorts getting squeezed and HAVING to cover.........
fundamentals n' stuff don't apply here, the stock runs on perception and
hype, if you will. Which is entirely OK with all the longs, it has made a
few guys millionaires ( i know one of them ). So go with the flow and enjoy
the greens as they come.
