What's The Difference Between Listed And OTC Stocks??

Q: Before I complain to them, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the difference is between Listed and OTC stocks, would NETC be considered a listed stock?

A: One answer is that, generally (but there are exceptions), the stock
symbol has fewer than 4 letters for a stock listed on a market,
and four or more letters for an OTC stock.

Listed stocks are those companies that trade on an exchange, OTC do
not trade on an exchange. All OTC are not necessarily NASDAQ though;
many OTC stocks do not

qualify to trade via NASDAQ.
You really should know this prior to trading stocks.
