Billiam's 1999 Stock Challenge

Q: I like you idea of playing on something like final bell, especially since you have done okay there before and have absorbed what there is in the learning curve. I feel best when i am close hauled and footing in a safe lee position ....just waiting for the other skipper to go a little overboard so to speak.

A: I am a person who likes to have a little TA flexibility so i am going
to keep thinking hard about how to blend my trading into another format
like final bell. What I wanted to do, sort of, was to do what you got caught
doing last year: Trade two accounts for different purposes, but I can
learn to be cooperative and such. I can easily hold

up the fence for
another bull to go first, because i like shy young things that often get over
looked on the first several rounds in the lower pastures.

Could we lower the 10 dollar rule to 7 3/8, my stetson size? I admit, my
boots are 10 1/2 so again, I can look down as well as up if I have to.

I really like trading stocks. And I really think pulling it down in
futures index day trading is where the real action is. Those are the two
areas I wanted to keep separate and trade alongside you.

However it turns out, I know I can count on you to bring out the best in
this bunch in this fun thing we are going to do to you, and I think you
should be the arbitrator in all disputes so you can't say you were whipped
unfairly by all of us, or even that you become overconfident.

if we start with 100,000, then it will be just how long it takes to get to
400,000 or is it going to be more like going the whole nine yards (I was
thinking of a year, and I reread your notes so it is limited to the first
three months, beginning when anual reports are blitzing the dumb street
people's whisperings) into the land of high contrast of the rich and the
poor? can that final bell handle seven digits? Is there provision for
margin and trading both ways? I check all this out too by going there and
getting inside the software for a while.

As 704 says, K.I.S.S. is the key, I guess, but I dont want to bastardize my stupid
approach too much.

I am committed to the idea that everyone is going to play on the high road,
and there isn't any question of deviations from the traditions of the
market place here. No winter rules, and an open kimono (gender neutral, of
course) at all times.
