Another Economist Against Free Trade.....
Q: I do not see much inflation here, but I do see lots of deflating:). It's the logical conclusion to a system that concentrates almost all the wealth and power, into the hands of a few, it's called free market economics, and its failed now 3 times in the last 100 years or so, because demand is the true driver of a modern economy, not the supply side. Wages and leisure time equals demand.
A:
Do you think the wealthy found religion with the socialist, or were they
making a profit?
All these plans to "convert" our enemy to capitalism seem to have
backfired. It appears that while we were making money socialist behind
the scenes were making back door progress. Some capitalist said that
you couldn't do business with socialist
and trading with them would NOT be on equal settings. Such as China
using prison labor for production.
Correct, but a middle class does not come natural, it has to be
nurtured. No middle class, no mass wealthy, just a few as wealth
concentrates even more. Even the really stupid know when to come in
from the rain. Perhaps enough wealthy will have the brains to do the
same thing.
There is a children's fairy tale about "The Emperor's New Clothes" where
some slick tailors convinced an emperor that they could weave a wardrobe
out of gold and the emperor "bought into" the idea, sold by the slick
tailors that "only a fool could not see these finest of gold threads" and
so the emperor bought the wardrobe (which was invisible) and the tailors
left town with the gold, and the emperor went out on parade in his new
"gold" clothes and all the townspeople came to see the emperor wearing
nothing at all but acting as if he were wearing the finest of garb.
